Originally, I’m from Eldon, Missouri where I was raised on a small family farm. On our farm, we custom-baled hay and straw as well as raised show steers and market hogs.
After graduating from Eldon High School, I received a degree in Agricultural Education with an emphasis in Leadership from the University of Missouri.
Knowing I did not want to be a teacher, I continued my education and graduated with a Master’s degree in Public Affairs with an emphasis in Organizational and Community Change; looking to pursue a path in politics.
For a year, I worked with the City of Eldon as their Director of Economic Development until I began to think, “What career path do I really want to follow?” After some inner searching, I realized I truly enjoyed agriculture and felt most at home when I was around it.
From there it did not take long for me to select FCS Financial as the company I wanted to work for as it combined my love of helping people succeed, my passion for agriculture, and my fondness for numbers.
In April of 2011, I started working for FCS Financial in Nevada, Missouri with a very diverse set of customers.
After 3 years, I transferred to Jefferson City and then on to Columbia, which provided me the opportunity to serve my home area. I am excited to be on board and look to give my customers the very best service.
The patronage program is a cooperative benefit for FCS Financial member-owners. We share our profits with our member-owners in the form of a cash patronage payment. The board of directors votes each year based on the cooperative’s earnings whether to make a patronage declaration. Since the program was implemented in 2006, FCS Financial has returned more than $250 million to our member-owners.
